Pope Memorial Humane Society, located in Thomaston, Maine, was building a new veterinary clinic to help speed the process of adopting pets. In order to do this they had to initiate a public capital campaign. What better way to get the message out to the world than via video? They approached us with a limited budget, and a wild and unpredictable set of ‘talent’. We aren’t sure we could have had more fun on an assignemnt.
We needed to create a short, impactful video that spoke to their target audience in a a meaningful way, inspiring them to contribute to this worthy cause. A piece that was fun, that had all the visual elements that pulled at the heart stings, with a call to action.
Cats, dogs, bunnies. Need we say more? While it was incredibly enjoyable, with maximum cuteness overload, we needed to be on our toes. Animals, and the humans that love them are often very unpredictable.
This was a nice cross between a production piece and a quick moving event. While we scheduled a number of elements with the staff at Pope Memorial, the rest was catch as catch can. Our team is well versed in both styles of filming, we were able to pull this production off with aplomb. The results are a fun, endearing heart felt piece that inspires the viewer to become involved.
